A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. Similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels) work in comparable ways. Below we refer to all of them as "cookies".
Strictly necessary
Purpose: keep you signed in, remember your workspace and language, protect against CSRF and abuse.
Examples: Supabase auth session, our own lk-lang preference, cache tokens.
These cannot be disabled without breaking the service.
Product analytics
Purpose: understand which features are used, find bugs, size servers. We use aggregate, privacy-friendly analytics and do not sell data to third parties.
You can opt out via the cookie banner or your browser's Do Not Track setting.
Payments
Our payment processor sets cookies during checkout to prevent fraud. These load only on billing pages.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies in your browser at any time; you will be signed out. Most browsers let you block third-party cookies without breaking Looknish.
