How to photograph clothes with your phone.
You don't need a camera, a studio, or a photographer to sell clothes online. You need a phone, a window, and 15 minutes. Here's the workflow.
Setup
Find a north-facing window. Lay a plain white sheet, foam board, or plywood on the floor beneath it. That's your studio.
Prep the garment
Steam or iron it. Every wrinkle you skip now becomes a retouching problem later. Lay the piece flat, arrange sleeves and hems, and remove any lint.
Position the phone
Directly above the garment, phone parallel to the surface. A cheap phone tripod with an overhead arm makes this 10x easier. If you don't have one, stack books on either side of the garment and rest the phone bridge across them.
Shoot
Tap to focus on the garment. Lock exposure. Take three: one straight-on, one from slightly forward, one detail. Move on.
What to do next

Do I need a real camera for this?
